Confetti — A Beautiful Recycled Yarn

Inspired by Aimée’s travels to the Shetland Islands, Confetti is a unique yarn that combines sustainability, softness, and character. Spun from upcycled hand-dyed yarn threads collected in the La Bien Aimée studio in Paris, each skein celebrates the beauty that can emerge from reimagining and repurposing precious materials.

The colorful recycled fibers are blended with a custom mix of Merino and Shetland wool, creating a yarn that is wonderfully soft, plump, and full of texture. The result is a tweedy fabric with unexpected pops of color, beautiful depth, and a gentle hand that feels comfortable against the skin.

Each batch of Confetti is slightly different, making every skein a little piece of La Bien Aimée history—a joyful reminder that beauty can be found in the most unexpected places.

Colors:
Aimée’s Peach Sweater is a light pink with a warm glow of yellow.
It evokes warmth, compassion and kindness, nurturing community and connection. 
With Anemone dive into spring with this fresh burst of color, perfect for adding a touch of magic to your projects.
Granite is a beautiful slate grey is accented with colorful flecks of recycled fibers, creating a truly unique, tweedy effect that’s as elegant as it is playful.
The new Gris Ephémère is a little bit darker than our first gris éphémère, it is more of a medium grey base color with a rainbow of speckles in both neon and jewel tones.
Nightfall is a deep, dark blue, inspired by our beautiful Winterfell colorway, with flecks of moody neutrals and bright neons. You will find pops of pink, purple, blue, yellow, rusty orange and light grey.
The Shire, based on our popular colorway of the same name, this beautiful green with jewel toned confetti yarn bits is so stunning!
Rose Ephémère is a bright joyful pink.
Rust is rich, vibrant, and overflowing with autumnal charm. It’s like holding a piece of the season in your hands — autumn in a skein.
Vintage Bloom captures the essence of faded rose petals. Vintage Bloom is a stunning dusty pink, accentuated with light neutrals, rusty orange, and dark blue, creating an elegant and chic palette that tends towards the light browns, like cedar with subtle hints of copper.
Yellow Brick Road, inspired by Aimée's Kansas roots, used a special blend of recycled La Bien Aimée threads, with more jewel tones and fewer neons, giving the overall color a moodier, darker twist. The recycled bits create a tweedy texture that’s truly one-of-a-kind.
La Bien Aimée Confetti is a DK weight yarn which offers 230m / 250 yds for 100g. It can easily flex up to a Worsted weight, as it is full of pretty yarn bits that give it a slightly thick and thin aspect. The average needle size recommended to knit Confetti is 4.5mm (US7).
